One of the oldest and most flexible bitters used for cocktails and cookery, Orange Bitters are a bartenders’ staple often overlooked in the home bar. Taught by professional barman and {the rest} bar manager Adam Albro, this class will cover the fascinating history of orange bitters production, instruction on how to master tasting and evaluating bitters, and examples utilizing orange bitters in cocktails, coffee, baking, and more. We’ll discuss the history of a popular pre-Prohibition drink, the Bijou cocktail, and why it has seen such a prominent return in the past decade. The class covers the ingredients and techniques needed to make a perfect, classic Bijou cocktail. $XX per person
